Starry Night Café is currently seeking a Sous Chef to join our growing team of professionals. We are a passionate crew that believes in doing stellar work and supporting each other for the overall integrity of the dining experience we love to provide. We want to have fun, be playful, work hard, and show up for each other with the intention of growing contemporary branches from the VT roots that have supported us for so many years.
Our Sous Chef will work closely with our Head Chef to plan menus, provide a creative mind to engage with, and assist in the daily direction of kitchen staff. A solid repertoire of prep and production skill is necessary. Organization, cleanliness and ability to think on the fly are crucial to the position, therefore experience managing staff or holding a leadership role in a kitchen is desired but not required. If you have solid restaurant experience and are looking for that next step, this could be a great fit for you! We are willing to train the right fit for our team.
